It effectively narrates the evolution of AI-generated artistry while simultaneously redefining contemporary perceptions of art in the digital age."

‘New Beginnings’ showcases a diverse spectrum of mediums and methodologies to reflect on AI’s journey and its dual role as both inspiration and instrument in the artistic process. The art creators selected for this showcase are at the vanguard of integrating AI technologies with creative expression through their innovative practices.

Show highlights include:

The gallery’s dedication to merging these elements is symbolic of its broader mission to catalyse a renaissance in art acquisition, connecting the tangible with the digital to enchant a discerning global audience. The artists selected have embraced digital tools to create works that reflect new, faster and collaborative production methods. With vast data flows and virtualisation, artists can draw from lived experiences to create new meanings."

Chiang Mai’s Poor Air Quality Affects Hotel Bookings During Songkran Festival

CHIANGMAI, The situation of forest fires in Chiang Mai continues to be severe, resulting in high levels of air pollution. This has impacted hotel bookings during the Songkran Festival.

This morning, the level of PM2.5 in Chiang Dao District reached as high as 820 micrograms per cubic meter, ranking it as the worst air quality in the world.

The Chiang Mai skyline remains covered with smoke haze from ongoing forest fires, both from deliberate burning and transboundary haze. This morning, there were as many as 411 hotspots, with Chiang Dao District having the highest number at 83.

According to the weather data center at Chiang Mai University, the PM2.5 level at 7 am in Baan Pangmayao in Chiang Dao District was at 820 micrograms per cubic meter, which is 21 times higher than the standard.

The PM2.5 level at Chiang Mai University was at 254 micrograms per cubic meter, while in the night bazaar rea, it was at 218 micrograms per cubic meter, both reaching unhealthy levels.

The IQAir website also ranks Chiang M
ai as the city with the worst air quality in the world, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 207 at 11 am, indicating a purple level warning. People are advised to wear N95 masks when outdoors.

The haze situation continues to affect tourism. Mr. Paisan Sukcharoen, the president of the Northern Thai Hotels Association, revealed that hotel room bookings in Chiang Mai province during the upcoming Songkran Festival period have decreased. Between April 12 and 27, approximately 20,000 rooms have been booked out of a total of nearly 60,000 rooms. This includes bookings for 5-star hotels, which account for nearly 70% of the total. Most tourists are from Europe.

He said one of the reasons for the decrease in bookings may be due to the haze from forest fires. At present, only about 60% of hotel rooms have been booked for the Songkran Festival in mid April, a much lower rate compared to previous years.

However, it is believed that more Thais will book rooms from April 8 to 10, as the government and all sectors are stim
ulating tourism during the Songkran Festival. It is expected that tourists will return, increasing the occupancy rate to 90%. In his own hotels, they are spraying water mist on the building’s facade and providing air purifiers in the rooms.

Currently, foreign tourists arrive in Chiang Mai through the airport at a rate of approximately 3,000 people per day, with about 20,000 Thais, bringing the total to more than 20,000 people per day. In March, Chiang Mai earned more than 20 billion baht in tourism revenue.

Henchmen of “Big Joke” from the “Pae Rak Phukan” case team gave evidence to the prosecutor.

Bangkok, 4 subordinates of “Big Joke” from the original “Pae Rak Phuekhan” case team entered to testify with the prosecutor’s case team. Before concluding the case in May, “Prosecutor Watcharin” confirmed that the case has not been delayed. Because the truth must be heard from all sides, he confirmed that he had summoned 4 police officers to come to the police, which was not related to the case of the court issuing an arrest warrant for “Big Joke”. Confirming that he did not direct “Boy” to testify as claimed. And I’m not worried.

Progress in the case of government officials involved in collecting 140 million baht in assets from an online gambling website network or the Pae Rak Prakan case, led by Mr. Watcharin Panurat, Deputy Director-General of Public Prosecutions. Bureau of Investigation As the head of the audit working group or direct an investigation Pol. Lt. Gen. Akradet Pimonsri, Assistant Police Commander, as head of the investigation team. Participated in asking for information from the original in
vestigative team working on the case. at Provincial Police Region 1 Headquarters after interviewing more than 200 witnesses

Today, the original case team came to provide information, 4 officers, consisting of Pol. Maj. Gen. Namkiat, Pol. Col. Pakpoom, Pol. Col. Khemmarin and Pol. Col. Pramet. Mr. Watcharin said that we focus on listening to the facts. and evidence from all sides and the accused was given an opportunity to testify which has completed a complete investigation But the submission has not yet been finalized. Because I want to listen to all sides Today, the original investigative team has been invited to testify. which is an invitation Not the accused

As for the reason for having to invite these 4 police officers to testify? Because some of you have already given evidence. Some of you have never testified. Because we want the truth of the matter. which confirms that We follow the evidence There is no helping anyone and no taking sides. Therefore, there is some truth in the expressions that I woul
d like all 4 people to testify for the benefit of the case. If the testimony relates to anyone, the case will be prosecuted accordingly. Therefore, making a case must listen to all sides. There will be no way for us to avoid listening to any side, and all four officers are considered the investigative team that did their job from the beginning. Some of them investigate various evidences including financial routes. Some of you are already investigative officers, or if all 4 of you would like to give additional information that is not in the document, we are happy to accept.

The time frame for the case to be completed is within May. This round of witnesses is the last set of witnesses from government officials. Because he was the one who started the case from the beginning. Therefore, it is an examination of testimony to fill in the missing parts. As for the accused And the injured party has all been interviewed. A total of 6 people were invited from the original investigative team, but today only 4 people cam
e. The other 2 people have an appointment for Tuesday, April 9th. After that, when the testimonies are finished, another general meeting will be arranged. This time after Songkran

Mr. Watcharin confirmed that the case has not been delayed. Because today the number of suspects has increased to 33 and there is still 1 escaped suspect, which is considered not a delay because we were unable to help anyone. Close your eyes and ears to everything. Open only the mind to receive the expressions from the evidence only. As for whether there will be additional suspects or not, we cannot yet answer. We must wait and see the testimony from today’s information. And the case has progressed more than 90% and is close to concluding the case. It is also confirmed that the four officers did not voluntarily come to accuse anyone. But the working group called all 4 people to come in and provide information. It is not related to the fact that the 4 people already have a case and is not related to the issuance of an arrest warrant
. Pol. Gen. Surachet Hakphan, deputy police commander, yesterday because the four officers were summoned before the court issued an arrest warrant.

As for the case of Mr. Boy He once gave an interview that he did not receive justice in that case. Mr. Watcharin stated that he went to speak to the media. But when giving evidence to myself, I didn’t see him speak. Because he was the one who examined Mr. Boy himself. I didn’t see anything said even though I had already said that. If you want to tell me anything, please tell me. and sent a team of prosecutors and investigators to investigate Chonburi with some of the people he cited as witnesses.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Namkiat Telling about a case where it was previously stated that it was not fair in being prosecuted for its own gambling website. Because he himself was the person who made the 140 million baht contract, that it was a belief that he understood. and has already been taught to the public and the media I will not ask to refer to that day again. Because it i
s considered that on that day you exercise your rights, it ends there. Today is a matter of coming to give evidence as requested by the investigating officer. The details are with the investigating officer. As for the case that has come out to expose Superintendent D. who was close to a big police officer and caused himself to be retaliated against. Pol. Maj. Gen. Namkiat stated that it is details in this case that he would not like to disclose and that he is no longer responsible for the case. And I myself was not worried. Because in the past he had not done as he had been accused of. Your job is to solve problems.

As for the case of Mr. Boy Alleged that there was forced guidance in the investigation process. Pol. Maj. Gen. Namkiat stated that details in this case would not be discussed. It is a matter of request to the investigative team. And what he mentioned is the duty of the investigating officer. If it is determined that they themselves have committed a crime, it is the duty of the investigating offic
er, but they confirm that they definitely did not act as they claimed.

Meanwhile, Pol. Col. Khemarin also said that he has no worries either. Because it is considered the first investigative team and is ready to provide information that is already in the details But it is a step that will bring fairness to all parties.

Court Accepts Petition, Seeking MFP Dissolution

BANGKOK, The Constitutional Court has accepted a petition by the Election Commission (EC) asking the court to consider dissolving the main opposition Move Forward Party (MFP).

The petition alleged that the MFP’s efforts to change Section 112 of the Criminal Code or the lese majeste law showed an intention to undermine the constitutional monarchy, which violates Section 92 of the organic law on political parties.

The petition also requested the withdrawal of the party’s executives’ right to run for election for a period of 10 years.

The Court has concluded that there is credible evidence that the MFP committed the alleged acts. Therefore, the petition will be considered.

A copy of the petition will also be sent to the MFP and the party is asked to submit an explanation to the Court within 15 days from the date of receipt of the petition.

In January, the Constitutional Court ruled that MFP’s plan to amend the lese majeste law was unconstitutional and tantamount to an attempt to overthrow the sysmten of th
e government with the King as the head of state. The court ordered the cessation of such activities.

Move Forward has denied any attempt and intention to do so and has prepared its defence to provide explaination regarding the allegation.
