Mr. Lawan Saengsanit, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, revealed that around the beginning of May there will be clarity regarding the issuance of Customs Department announcements. It’s a ministerial regulation. Concerning the guidelines for collecting Value Added Tax (VAT) from imports of goods with a price not exceeding 1,500 baht (Low-Value Goods), resulting in importers and online sales platform Both inside and abroad Including other people as required by law. Has the duty to register for Value Added Tax with the Revenue Department. and collect VAT at the same rate of 7% as for sales of products by sellers in Thailand. It is expected to be effective within May.
