Bangkok, ONWR prepares to organize ‘World Water Day’ on March 22, 2024 under the theme ‘Water for Peace.’

Dr. Surasee Kittimonthon, Secretary-General of the National Water Resources Office (ONWR) presided over a press conference for the event on World Water Day 2024, saying that because the United Nations (UN) is aware of the problem of water shortages that are getting more severe every year. and may cause problems with competing for water in the future. Therefore, every March 22 of every year Therefore, it is designated as “World Water Day” or “World Water Day” to emphasize the importance of water. It also stimulates awareness about water conservation and water source development. This year’s event has set the topic or theme of the event to be “Leveraging Water for Peace” or “Water for Peace”.
