Jakarta Comprehensive measurements must be undertaken to encourage improvement in productivity, the Manpower Ministry’s Director General of Vocational Training Development and Productivity (Binalavotas) Budi Hartawan has said.
“Measurement will encourage comprehensive improvement in productivity, efficiency, quality, and capability in responding to manpower challenges,” he said in a statement issued on Saturday.
For companies, productivity measurement is important to determine how far the production process helps balance profit and workers’ wages, he explained.
Meanwhile, for ministries and institutions, productivity measurement is very important since it can help evaluate processes and the results of bureaucratic reforms.
