Anutin Affirms Bhumjaithai’s Support for Ministers Amid Censure Debate

Bangkok: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, has declared that his party is prepared to support ministers from all parties who can provide satisfactory explanations during the upcoming censure debate. Despite external conflicts, Anutin emphasized that these issues are personal and do not affect the Prime Minister or the Cabinet.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin spoke ahead of a dinner party of the coalition government, affirming that there will be no attempts to resolve misunderstandings but rather a focus on each party's readiness in the event of a no-confidence motion. He stressed the importance of coalition unity and clarified that the government remains intact despite reports of rifts. Anutin dismissed concerns about internal discord, asserting that his communication with the Prime Minister is consistent and cooperative.

Anutin addressed questions regarding media reports of conflicts within the coalition, questioning their origins and denying any involvement. He acknowledged differing opinions among coalition parties as normal and necessary for constructive dialogue. Addressing personal conflicts, Anutin stated these are unrelated to government operations and should be handled individually.

In response to inquiries about potential conflicts affecting the coalition, Anutin reassured that personal disputes would not escalate within the Cabinet. He reiterated Bhumjaithai's stance, indicating that the party will support explanations that align with legal standards and the constitution. He emphasized that Bhumjaithai, as a key coalition partner, stands ready to back all coalition parties during the censure debate, contingent on lawful conduct.
