Mae Hong Son: Secretary of the Interior Ministry 1, Ms. Traisuree Traisaranakul, and Mae Hong Son Governor, Mr. Ekkawit Meepian, recently visited Pai Walking Street in Mae Hong Son Province. During their visit, they observed the presence of Israeli stickers on food trucks, poles, and shops.
According to Thai News Agency, the Mae Hong Son Tourist Police have established a public service point and erected signs urging tourists to respect local culture and dress appropriately. On the day of the visit, five tourists were arrested and fined for smoking marijuana in public. To ensure safety and order, the Tourist Police have also deployed bicycle patrols in the area.
In an additional development, Ms. Traisuree had a meeting with Ms. Orna Sagiv, the Israeli Ambassador to Thailand, discussing the day's field visit. Reporters noted that the Israeli stickers found on the walking street were similar to those seen at Chabad, a Jewish synagogue in Pai District.
