Accounts receivables software Chaser celebrates helping businesses recover $10 billion in late payments

Chaser has chased $10 billion in late payments

LONDON, Jan. 06, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) —  Chaser, the global accounts receivables automation software and credit control service provider, has a good reason to celebrate the start of 2022: it has achieved the milestone of helping users chase and recover $10 billion in late payments. This is aligned with the company’s mission to help businesses worldwide get paid in an efficient and friendly way so that they improve cash flow.

Chaser enhances the way that businesses chase unpaid invoices and makes it easier for customers to pay their suppliers. Using the end-to-end accounts receivables software Chaser, businesses can schedule, track, and chase invoice payments automatically, until payment is received. On average, 48% of invoices are paid late every month (Xero and Paypal, 2019), which causes difficulty forecasting, cash flow strains, stifling business growth, and hours of employee time spent following up on overdue payments. In fact, 30% of businesses believe late payments are affecting their ability to keep their business open (Businesswire, 2021).

Businesses using Chaser to manage their accounts receivables have seen results such as recovering $26,600 of late payments from customers in just 30 minutes, getting invoices paid an average of 54 days faster, and saving over 15 hours per week on receivables tasks. See more Chaser user stories here.

This signifies a huge step towards helping businesses reduce the late payments that cause cash flow strains and business failures year after year. By adopting a structured accounts receivables process and using an automation tool like Chaser, businesses globally can improve their cash flow and reduce the risk of late payments to their business.

“By using the software to manage the accounts receivables process end-to-end, businesses can efficiently and effectively follow up on invoices, reducing late payments and improving cash flow. Chaser continues to develop features and functionalities to help businesses worldwide automate their processes and reduce late payments, and will be launching SMS chasing in early-2022 to support users further.” – Sonia Dorais, CEO of Chaser.

Constellation Brands will manufacture, market, and distribute new FRESCA™ Mixed cocktails, which will launch this year in the United States

VICTOR, N.Y., Jan. 06, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Constellation Brands, Inc. (NYSE: STZ and STZ.B), a leading beverage alcohol company, announced today that it has entered into a brand authorization agreement with The Coca-Cola Company in the United States to bring the FRESCA® brand into beverage alcohol through the manufacturing, marketing, distribution, and launch of FRESCA™ Mixed – a new, distinctive line of spirit-based, ready-to-drink cocktails that are well-aligned to a number of emerging consumer trends.

“The Coca-Cola Company’s FRESCA® brand is not only trusted by consumers, but also directly delivers on consumer preferences for refreshment, flavor, and convenience – attributes that also play well within beverage alcohol and where we can leverage our expertise,” said Bill Newlands, Constellation’s president and chief executive officer.

Adult Alternative Beverages, including ready-to-drink cocktails, represents nearly an $8 billion segment projected to grow at a 15-17 percent CAGR over the next three years, with trusted consumer brands commanding a significant share of the market, according to Constellation Brands market research.

FRESCA® is experiencing a surge in popularity with consumers and is currently the fastest growing soft drink trademark in The Coca-Cola Company’s U.S. portfolio (source: Nielsen AMC YTD 11-27-21). Favored by consumers and celebrities as a cocktail mixer, a soft drink, and a zero-calorie, zero-sugar sparkling soda water, consumers consider FRESCA® the no. 1 most unique and different product in the soft drink category (source: Bev360 Dec 2020 12MMT). Leveraging its credentials as a popular mixer that lifts all spirits it’s paired with, FRESCA™ Mixed cocktails will perfectly balance the FRESCA® flavor consumers expect with quality spirit bases rooted in Constellation’s expertise. The new FRESCA™ Mixed will be a distinctive and intriguing brand that delivers consumers fuller-flavored, convenient, ready-to-drink cocktails using real spirits that are great tasting and high quality.

“One of the core tenets of our innovation strategy is a belief in the power of extending strong and trusted brands in thoughtful ways to bring to market unique products that resonate with consumers,” said Mallika Monteiro, Constellation’s chief growth, strategy, and digital officer. “This is an exciting agreement that allows us to continue expanding our premium portfolio in ways that deliver distinctive consumer value propositions that include things like more flavor, different alcohol bases, and functional benefits.”

Added Dan White, chief of new revenue streams, Coca-Cola North America Operating Unit: “The Coca-Cola Company and Constellation Brands have a shared passion for building some of the world’s most loved brands and for building best-in-class beverage experiences. Our new relationship with Constellation Brands is ideal due to their consumer-focused approach to brand building, expansive distribution network, and distilled distribution expertise. With the launch of FRESCA™ Mixed by Constellation, people will have an entirely new way to enjoy the taste of FRESCA®, now mixed with real spirits.”

FRESCA™ Mixed is expected to launch this year, starting with cocktails using real spirits and inspired by recipes created by FRESCA® fans from around the globe. Giant fish found during Aceh flooding from Amazon River: officials

Aceh’s Marine and Fisheries Office (DKP) has confirmed that a giant fish found by residents during floods in Lhokseumawe city belongs to the arapaima gigas species whose natural habitat is the Amazon River in Brazil.

“That is right, the fish is a type of arapaima, originally from the Amazon River in Brazil,” Aceh DKP head Aliman said here on Thursday.

Earlier, the Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA) of Aceh had examined the giant fish that was discovered in an inundated area of Lhokseumawe city and suspected of being an arapaima.

The discovery of the giant fish had shocked Lhokseumawe city residents and the news had gone viral on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, Aliman said.

Based on information received, the fish was kept in an ornamental fish shop in Lhokseumawe, but was thrown into a gutter after it died, he added.

According to Aliman, circulation or trade of arapaima fish is prohibited in Indonesia, in accordance with the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation (KKP) No. 19 of 2020 concerning the ban of the entry, cultivation, circulation, and release of fish species that endanger and/or harm the country’s fisheries management area.

He then urged the public not to keep such fish species as pets because they are wild and predatory and can threaten other fish populations if released into the waters.

“We also ask that the PSDKP (Supervising Office of Marine Resources and Fisheries) closely monitor the circulation of these types of fish,” Aliman said.
