Wisuda Wichiansin Celebrates By-Election Victory with Parade Tour

Kanchanaburi: Wisuda Wichiansin, representing the Bhumjaithai Party, embarked on a celebratory tour to express her gratitude to the constituents following her decisive victory in the Kanchanaburi by-election. The election saw her defeat her opponent, General Chinnawat Mandej of the Pheu Thai Party, by a substantial margin of over 17,000 votes.

According to Thai News Agency, Wisuda, now the prospective Member of Parliament for Kanchanaburi District 4, visited four districts: Lao Khwan, Huai Krachao, Bo Phloi (excluding Nong Kum Subdistrict), and Nong Prue District. Her tour commenced with a ride on a parade float, followed by personal interactions with people at the Lao Khwan Municipal Market. She plans to extend her gratitude tour to the remaining districts.

During her interactions, Wisuda expressed her appreciation to the electorate for their support and the significant number of votes she received. She acknowledged the concerns raised by the people and promised to address them once she receives formal approval from the Election Commission. She is committed to serving her constituents and believes that her affiliation with the Bhumjaithai Party will facilitate the communication of public concerns to the government effectively.

The Election Commission of Thailand officially declared Ms. Wisuda Wichiensin as the winner of the by-election in Kanchanaburi's Constituency 4. She secured 53,648 votes compared to Gen. Chinnawat Mandej's 36,540 votes, marking a victory margin of 17,108 votes.
