These concerns primarily revolve around the potential impact on vulnerable groups, highlighting the risks of gambling addiction and exploitation of groups such as the elderly or disabled for income generation.
Mr. Varawut stressed the importance of considering the Council of State's observations during the Cabinet meeting. He remarked that while the Act has its supporters due to its advantages, there are significant disadvantages that cause disagreement. A balanced discussion is essential, taking into account both the favorable and unfavorable aspects.
