Nonthaburi: Police have arrested three youths in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 17-year-old boy in front of a gas station, while one suspect remains at large. The incident resulted in the death of Mr. Anuchit, also known as Mr. Ice, who was attacked by a group of four male teenagers. He was stabbed five times in the chest and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
According to Thai News Agency, the Bang Bua Thong Police Investigation Division, in collaboration with the Nonthaburi Provincial Police Investigation Division, apprehended three suspects this morning. The suspects include two 15-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy, who were found in the Fang Nuea Phatthana community. The fourth suspect, identified as Mr. Singh, aged 20, is still on the run. The suspects have been initially charged with intentional murder.
The suspects claimed that the confrontation occurred because of a mutual glare between them and the deceased, a claim that police find unconvincing. Mr. Singh, who remains at large, has a previous criminal record involving possession of explosives and attempted murder. Authorities are actively pursuing him and expect to apprehend him soon. The investigation continues to determine the exact nature of the charges.
At Wat Lat Pla Duk, Tambon Bang Rak Phatthana, Amphoe Bang Bua Thong, Mrs. Mantra, the 42-year-old mother of the deceased, expressed her relief that the police acted swiftly in capturing the suspects. She urged for the remaining suspect to be caught soon and expressed a desire for them to seek forgiveness from her son's body. Despite her anger and grief, she stated her willingness to forgive and insisted that justice should follow its course according to the law.
