Bangkok: The family received the body of 'Minnie', believing that her Singaporean boyfriend was the perpetrator. They asked the police to track him down and prosecute him. Meanwhile, the police are waiting for the autopsy results and are urgently testing for toxic substances after finding no signs of a struggle in the bathroom where she died and no outsiders were found entering or leaving, apart from the two of them.
According to Thai News Agency, the family of Ms. Prawpilai, 30, or Minnie, a Thai woman who died in a luxury condominium in the Sukhumvit area, came to claim the body at the Department of Forensic Medicine, Chulalongkorn Hospital. Ms. Minnie's mother told the media with sadness that "I want the police to catch the murderer soon," before walking away.
Minnie's sister revealed that she believes that Daniel was the work of the incident because she was the last person with her sister. In the past, her sister often told her mother that Daniel had physically abused her. The two of them had broken up, but Daniel had come to ask for reconciliation. Previously, Minnie had told the family that if they could not contact her for 2 days, she would have died. She did not expect that such an incident would actually happen. This loss caused the family to lose their main breadwinner because Minnie was the one who sent money to take care of the family. Even though she did not work, her main income came from Daniel's money. She did not know what Daniel did for a living.
The cause of death was diagnosed by the doctor as acute heart failure. The family requested that the police arrest the perpetrator and bring him to justice, and asked the media to ask the perpetrator why he had to do this.
Pol. Lt. Col. Noppasin Poolsawat, deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, revealed after the investigation meeting that from the initial examination, the body of Ms. Prawpilai or Minnie had no signs of a struggle. There were no wounds on her body, only bruises on her arms and mouth. The place where the body was found in the bathroom was covered with only a bathrobe. The police will examine the body for toxic substances and DNA in the nail beds. He emphasized that no outsiders had entered or exited the room except for the two of them. As for the third party, from questioning friends, it was found that the two of them had argued before.
As for the news that Mr. Daniel has gone to the neighboring country, the police have not yet issued an arrest warrant. However, initially, Mr. Daniel was guilty of having an expired visa and the deceased was found in the room. Therefore, we will ask the court to issue an arrest warrant for Mr. Daniel. We must wait for additional evidence from the division of work for the investigation team to find information today.
