Thailand U23 National Team Prepares for Special Matches Against China

Kunming: The Thailand U23 national team is training hard and is ready for a special match against China. The "War Elephants," Thailand's under-23 national team, held their first training session at the National Sports Training Center of Haigeng in the People's Republic of China, in preparation for a special football match against the Chinese national team on October 10 and 14.

According to Thai News Agency, Coach Wang's training session, led by head coach Thawatchai Damrong-Ongtrakul, focused on helping the players adapt to the weather conditions, which ranged between 18-20 degrees Celsius, and reviewing various concepts. The emphasis was on ensuring the team is well-prepared for the upcoming matches.

Before the training session, Atthaphon Saengthong, a right-back from Nakhon Pathom United, expressed his enthusiasm about rejoining the Thai national team. He mentioned his familiarity with his teammates and highlighted his commitment to adapting to Coach Wang's tactics. Saengthong aims to perform at his peak if given the chance to play.

The Thai national team U23's first match is scheduled for October 10th and will be a closed match with no publicity or announcement of any results. The second match is set for October 14th at 3:00 PM Thailand time at Kunming Haigeng Training Center Main Stadium.
