Thai Women’s Volleyball Team Triumphs Over Indonesia in 2025 CV League

Nakhon ratchasima: The Thai women's volleyball team secured a 3-1 victory against Indonesia in their second match at the 2025 CV League Women's Volleyball Tournament, Field 1, held at Terminal 21 Korat Shopping Center.

According to Thai News Agency, the Thai team, dressed in black, had previously defeated the Philippines 3-1 in their opening match. The encounter against Indonesia drew a large crowd of volleyball enthusiasts from Korat and nearby provinces, who filled the venue with songs and cheers.

Led by head coach "Coach Oat" Kiattipong Rachatakraingkrai, the Thai team started with players Sasipaporn Chanwisut, Dolporn Sinpho, Thanatcha Suksod, Warunee Karum, with Natthanicha Jaisan as the setter and Kanlayarat Khamwong as the libero. Despite trailing in the first set and losing 22-25, the team rallied in the second set to level the score 1-1 with a 25-15 win.

The coach introduced key players Pimpichaya Kokram and Pornphan Kerdprach in the third and fourth sets, guiding the team to victory with scores of 27-25 and 25-12, respectively. This marked their second consecutive win in the tournament.

Post-match, Sasipaporn Chanthawisut shared that the coach utilized the game to test strategies and give younger players experience while resting the main squad. She emphasized the collective effort and determination of the team, which contributed to their success.

The Thai team is set to face Vietnam in their next match, who also achieved a 3-1 win against the Philippines. The match is scheduled for tomorrow evening at 5:00 PM, while Indonesia will take on the Philippines at 1:30 PM.
