Shocking Collision in Pattaya City: LPG Leak Causes Panic

Pattaya city: A dramatic incident occurred in the middle of Pattaya City when an SUV equipped with LPG was rear-ended by a motorcycle, causing damage and white smoke billowing from under the vehicle, along with the smell of gas. The incident occurred in front of a gas station on Pattaya Tai Road in Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. Officials had to steer the public and passing vehicles away from the scene, while firefighters sprayed water until over 50 liters of LPG were emptied. Not far away, the motorcycle involved in the accident was found parked in the middle of the road. The driver was injured, suffering abrasions and was lying in the middle of the road. Rescue workers transported him to the hospital.

According to Thai News Agency, the SUV driver said that while he was stopped at a red light, the other party's motorcycle slammed into him from behind, hitting the gas valve. The gas he had just filled up leaked out. He then turned off the engine and helped the injured person away from the vehicle before calling authorities for assistance.
