Buriram: The Prime Minister flies to Buriram to open a workshop on regional and local administration, aiming to integrate and drive provincial development. Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, together with Ms. Thirat Rattanasri, Deputy Minister of Interior and the delegation departed from the Military Airport 2, Wing 6 (B.6), Don Mueang, Bangkok, by Airbus-320 aircraft to Buriram Airport, Ron Thong Subdistrict, Satuek District, Buriram Province.
According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister is set to chair the opening of the workshop on regional and local administration to integrate and drive provincial development for fiscal year 2025. Upon arrival at Chang International Circuit, Mueang Buriram District, Buriram Province, she will visit an exhibition showcasing the achievements of the Ministry of Interior's mission. This exhibition is organized by the Department of Local Administration under policy guidelines across five areas. A video presentation on the mission's implementation of important policies by the Ministry of Interior will also be shown.
The Prime Minister will then deliver an opening speech at the workshop, focusing on integrating the development of provinces for the fiscal year 2025. Following the workshop, she will return to the 2nd Military Airport, Wing 6 (B.6), Don Mueang, Bangkok at 12.00 noon to continue her duties at Government House. The itinerary includes hosting a dinner in honor of the leaders of the countries participating in the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multidisciplinary Academic and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) at the Shangri-La Hotel, Charoen Krung Road, Bang Rak District, Bangkok.
