According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, addressed these issues after a cabinet meeting. She mentioned that Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, former Prime Minister, participated in a meeting with the Prime Minister's advisory team at a residence in Phitsanulok. The advisory team briefed her on the meeting, which included discussions on strategic responses to the United States and global economic outlooks following Donald Trump's inauguration. Although Mr. Thaksin shared insights with the advisory team, Ms. Paethongtarn did not personally meet with him or engage in discussions on the matter.
Regarding preparations for the no-confidence debate, Ms. Paethongtarn stated that she has been well-informed, as this is her first experience facing such a debate. She emphasized that the approach will focus on clarifying facts and adhering to the law.
