Prime Minister Departs for Ubon Ratchathani to Support Suranaree Forces

Bangkok: The Prime Minister has left Government House as part of preparations for a visit to Ubon Ratchathani Province, where she is set to meet and encourage the Suranaree Forces.

According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra concluded a meeting at the Thai Khu Fah Building that focused on providing assistance to residents in Thailand's border provinces. She departed Government House at 11:15 a.m. and was accompanied by Ms. Thirat Samretwanich, Deputy Minister of Interior, Mr. Arsit Sampantharat, Permanent Secretary of Interior, Mr. Chaiwat Junthiraphong, Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, and Mr. Phasakorn Boonyalak, Director-General of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation. The officials were present to see her off as she traveled to Rai Noi Subdistrict, Mueang Ubon Ratchathani District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.

At 1:20 p.m., the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet the Suranaree Forces and distribute morale-boosting items at the Morakot Operations Base in Tambon Dom Pradit, Amphoe Nam Yuen, Ubon Ratchathani Province. Following this engagement, she will return to Bangkok at 4:00 p.m.
