Prime Minister Pledges Full Support for Sovereignty Protection During Ubon Ratchathani Visit

Ubon Ratchathani: The Prime Minister reiterated that the government is ready to fully support the protection of sovereignty. The Prime Minister thanked the army and everyone, emphasizing that the government is ready to fully support in protecting our sovereignty.

According to Thai News Agency, at the Dom Pradit Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Nam Yuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, alongside Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, distributed survival kits to encourage Village Security Guards (VSCs). These local volunteers have completed training to ensure the safety and peace of the community.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude and encouragement to the Village Defense Volunteers (VDV) for their dedication in supporting the community. During the visit, the Prime Minister received red roses from government agencies and local residents, who were there to show their support and encouragement.

Following the event, the Prime Minister and her entourage visited the Morakot Operations Base in Dom Pradit Subdistrict. There, they met with Suranaree Force personnel, provided morale-boosting items, and received a briefing on the security situation.

The Prime Minister acknowledged the soldiers' commitment, praising their strength, courage, patience, and endurance. She expressed appreciation for their sacrifices, being away from home and family, and thanked the military commanders for their unwavering duty to protect the people and the country's sovereignty.

'I promise that the government is ready to fully support the military. Everyone is Thai. This land is Thai land. We must help protect it. Soldiers are like the fence of the nation. The government wants the fence of the nation to be healthy, both physically and mentally, and happy in performing their duties. Whatever you want the government to support, the government is happy and ready to fully support. On behalf of the government, I would like to thank you and send encouragement to all soldiers. I would also like to bring encouragement from all the people to give today,' stated Ms. Paethongtarn.
