Ubon Ratchathani: The Prime Minister arrived in Ubon Ratchathani, where she was greeted by the commander of the 2nd Army, who invited her to receive flowers from the villagers before heading to a military base.
According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, landed at Wing 21 in Ubon Ratchathani Province. Lt. Gen. Boonsin Phadklang, Commander of the 2nd Army, was present to welcome her. From there, she proceeded to the Dom Pradit Subdistrict Administrative Organization International Stadium, where local officials, including Lt. Col. Adisak Noisuwan, the Governor of Ubon Ratchathani, and Mr. Kriang Kalptinan, former Minister of the Interior, along with members of the Pheu Thai Party, awaited her arrival.
During her visit, Ms. Paethongtarn extended gifts to the Village Security Guards and interacted with them. Villagers presented her with roses and sarongs as tokens of encouragement. The Prime Minister invited the Commander of the 2nd Army to join her in receiving the flowers and posed for photos together.
A reporter inquired about the relationship between the Prime Minister and the Commander of the 2nd Army, but the Prime Minister did not respond directly. Amidst the questioning, a reporter's microphone accidentally struck the Prime Minister's head, to which she humorously reacted by saying, "Ouch! I hit my head!" The reporter quickly apologized, and the Prime Minister assured them it was fine with a laugh.
Following these interactions, the Prime Minister and the Commander of the 2nd Army traveled to the Morakot Operations Base in Tambon Dom Pradit, Amphoe Nam Yuen, where they met with the Suranaree Forces to provide encouragement.
