She mentioned having a meeting with the Permanent Secretary and focusing on ongoing assignments.
According to Thai News Agency, when reporters inquired if the Prime Minister had communicated with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul, who is also the leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, regarding the cabinet reshuffle conditions, she simply responded with a ‘Not yet.’ Further pressed on whether Anutin had rejected the conditions, the Prime Minister confirmed with a ‘Yes’ before promptly ending the conversation and departing in her vehicle.
During the brief encounter, reporters sought clarification on whether the situation might impact government stability, but the Prime Minister chose not to respond, quickly leaving the Ministry of Energy. Observers noted that despite the gravity of the questions, the Prime Minister maintained an indifferent demeanor, even attempting to smile while addressing the media.
