Bangkok: PM posts thanks after parliament passes vote of confidence, insists on explaining every issue, declares both support and no-confidence votes will be the power to strive to work for the people.

According to Thai News Agency, after the House of Representatives voted 319 to 162 in confidence in the Prime Minister, with 7 abstentions, Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra posted on social media that the no-confidence debate went smoothly. She thanked all parties who did their best to represent the people, including the Cabinet, which helped explain every issue, and members of the House of Representatives from both the government and opposition who participated in the scrutiny process for the benefit of the country.

Every vote, both support and no-confidence, will be the power for me and the cabinet to continue working for the people.
