Pickup Truck Crash on Motorway No. 7 Causes Destruction of Four Cars

Chon Buri: A pickup truck racing on the road lost control and crashed into a parked car on the side of the road, resulting in the destruction of four vehicles and causing injuries to one individual.

According to Thai News Agency, CCTV footage captured the moment when the pickup trucks were speeding on the motorway before swerving and crashing into cars parked on the side of the road with significant force. The incident took place on the parallel road of Motorway No. 7, heading into Bangkok, near a gas station in Mueang District, Chon Buri Province, leading to temporary traffic congestion.

At the scene, four damaged cars were identified. A black pickup truck displayed side collision marks, indicating it was one of the racing vehicles. A short distance away, a white passenger car, completely destroyed after being hit from behind by the white pickup truck, was found. Additionally, a bronze-gray car was also impacted. An injured woman was discovered in the pickup truck and was given first aid by rescue workers before being transported to Chonburi Hospital.

Mr. Anakhet, 18 years old, the driver of the white private car, stated that he was traveling from Saphan Pla and intended to return to Paet Riew. He had parked after leaving the gas station because his friend, who was driving another car, stopped to take a phone call. Subsequently, the pickup truck lost control and collided with his car, which then struck his friend's vehicle. Police plan to question all four drivers and thoroughly review the CCTV footage to take appropriate legal action.
