Sriracha: The "Pan 10K Charity Run 2025" has been officially announced at a press conference held at Hall 100 BITEC Bangna. Mr. Sommat Khunset, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pan Asia Footwear Public Company Limited, joined by Mr. Wekit Manarojkit, Sriracha District Chief, Mr. Chatchai Timkrajang, Mayor of Sriracha Municipality, and singer-actor "Tao" Somchai Khemglad, revealed details of the event, which is slated for Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Koh Loi, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province. According to Thai News Agency, the primary aim of the charity run is to channel all proceeds, without any expense deductions, towards purchasing medical equipment for Somdech Phra Borom Ratchathewi Na Sriracha Hospital and other local hospitals. The funds will also provide scholarships for schools under the Sriracha Municipality and support the Ejan Foundation in building schools for special children. The event will feature two running distances: a 5-kilometer Fun Run with a ticket price of 550 baht, and a 10- kilometer Mini Marathon priced at 650 baht. Additionally, a VIP ticket is available for 2,000 baht. Participants will compete in seven age groups, divided by gender, with trophies awarded to the top five finishers in each category, totaling 144 trophies. The charity run is open to individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, encouraging community participation and exercise. An estimated 7,000 participants are expected, with notable figures such as 'Tao' Somchai Khemglad also taking part in this year's run.
