Military Appoints Village Representative for Ban Nong Chan Inspections

Khok sung: "Weera" has disclosed that soldiers have been assigned as representatives to join in inspecting the Ban Nong Chan area. This development follows negotiations with military officials at the Khok Sung Police Station.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Wira Somkwamkit, who serves as the president of the People's Network Against Corruption, shared insights after discussions with the military. It was concluded that he would be appointed as the representative of the villagers to engage in inspections aligned with the military's operational agenda. The plan aims to push Cambodians out of the Ban Nong Chan area consistently.

The military has scheduled the commencement of this operation for November 17th, which will involve marking the border. Mr. Wira affirmed his intention to lead the villagers back and participate in the operations starting on this date. The military has already outlined a specific timeframe for the removal of Cambodians from the area.
