Bangkok: The Energy Policy Committee (EPPC) has set the price of LPG at 423 baht per 15-kilogram cylinder until November 30, 2025, continuing its "Quick Big Win" strategy to mitigate public living costs.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Prasert Sinsukprasert, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, announced that the Oil Fuel Fund Management Committee (OFMC) decided to maintain the LPG price from November 1-30, 2025, after the previous measure ends on October 31, 2025. This decision aligns with the Quick Big Win approach, focusing on achieving concrete results to ease cost-of-living pressures while ensuring stability in national energy prices, as advocated by Minister of Energy, Mr. Atthaphon Rerkpiboon.
The meeting addressed measures to balance the public's living costs with the domestic economy, aiming to shield energy prices from global market fluctuations. There was a call for vigilant monitoring of global LPG prices, especially with the anticipated rise during the winter season, to prepare and manage potential price impacts on the public.
The LPG CARGO price averaged US$453.22 for October 13-24, 2025, remaining under control. As of October 26, 2025, the Oil Fund's liquidity remains strong, despite an overall deficit of 13.74 billion baht. The oil account holds a surplus of 27.745 billion baht, while the LPG gas account shows a deficit of 41.485 billion baht.
