DSI Launches Comprehensive Investigation in Tangmo Case with Advanced Technology

Bangkok: DSI conducts special operation, dispatches 5 boats to inspect 8 suspicious points in the Phraya River, searching for the truth in the Tangmo case.

According to Thai News Agency, 25 investigators who are experts in investigations and officials from the Royal Irrigation Department are using special equipment and a special operations unit on five operational boats to survey the entire shipping route. The team is meticulously checking coordinates starting from Baan Tanid Restaurant to Rama VIII Bridge, tracing the path according to GPS coordinates.

The operation employs advanced technological tools and equipment to simulate the event in virtual reality, or 3D, marking a significant step in the investigation. This is the first instance where the DSI has deployed a team of forensic scientists to collect details at the most suspicious points, particularly focusing on the Tha Sai point at Wat Bat, to uncover the truth in the Tangmo case.
