Chutathip Maneephan Triumphs at 44th Asian Road Cycling Championship

Phitsanulok: Beez' Chutathip Maneephan, a Thai national cyclist, clinched a gold medal at the 2025 Asian Road Championships. The 44th edition of the Asian Road Cycling Championship saw the Road Race covering a course from the Royal Palace of Chan, Phitsanulok Province, to the Saranchit Mongkhon Suk Cycling Stadium in Bueng Si Fai, Phichit Province, spanning a distance of 105.70 km.

According to Thai News Agency, the competition featured the Women's Citizens category, where Thai cyclists, led by Chutathip Maneephan and Petcharin Somrat, showcased their skills. The highlight of the race was the circuit around Bueng Si Fai, with the cyclists tightly grouped until the final sprint to the finish line. Chutathip managed to outpace her competitor, Nguyen Thi That from Vietnam, crossing the finish line first by a narrow margin.

This victory marks Chutathip's first gold medal in the Asian Road Cycling Championship. Nguyen Thi That secured the silver medal, and Cheu Vinh Li from Hong Kong took the bronze, with all competitors finishing with a time of 2 hours 43 minutes and 05 seconds.
