Castrol Partners with Thai Football League to Boost Brand Engagement

Bangkok: The Football Association of Thailand has officially launched 'Castrol' as a new sponsor to support the Thai League football. The collaboration was announced at an event featuring Group Captain Piyapong Pue-on, an Association Board Member, and "Leesaw" Teeratep Winothai, a former striker for the Thai national team.

According to Thai News Agency, the Football Association of Thailand, along with Plan B Eleven Co., Ltd., and BP Company, introduced Castrol (Thailand) Co., Ltd. as a key supporter of the league. Castrol, a leading engine oil brand, aims to penetrate the market through Sports Marketing initiatives that support the Thai League. The partnership seeks to capitalize on the increasing number of spectators in stadiums, offering a platform for Castrol to enhance brand awareness and engage with football fans nationwide.

The initiative focuses on expanding Castrol's customer base to include the new generation, particularly Gen Y and Gen Z, who are attracted to innovation and high-performance products. Mrs. Sirinuch Changthong, Marketing Director of BP - Castrol (Thailand) Co., Ltd., emphasized the importance of this year for Castrol, as they aim to foster closer connections with customers through a shared passion for football.
