Cash Truck Driver Seriously Injured After Falling Into Elevator Shaft on 3rd Floor

Pattaya: A cash truck driver, identified as Mr. Narut, aged 40, suffered serious injuries after falling into an elevator shaft from the third floor of a bank's cash room on Pattaya Road 2, Village 9, Nongprue Subdistrict, Banglamung District, Chon Buri Province. The incident left him unconscious with a large laceration on his head, resulting in significant blood loss. Emergency responders quickly provided first aid before Mr. Narut was transported to the hospital for further treatment.

According to Thai News Agency, the accident occurred while Mr. Narut was preparing to transport cash to refill ATMs throughout Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri Province. The elevator carrying the cash reportedly descended to the first floor, but it is believed that Mr. Narut mistakenly thought it had reached the top floor. As he turned his back and attempted to enter the elevator with a bag of money, he inadvertently fell into the shaft.
