Anutin Visits Ban Kruat Border Area to Support Soldiers and Volunteers

Ban kruat: Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, along with Sabida Thaiset and party MPs, visited the Ban Kruat border area to encourage soldiers and Village Defense Volunteers. He urged villagers to stay at the evacuation center beyond August 4, even as the situation has seen improvement.

According to Thai News Agency, Anutin and Ms. Sabida Thaiset, former Deputy Minister of the Interior and a Bhumjaithai Party MP, traveled to the border area of Ban Kruat District in Buriram Province to provide moral support to military personnel and Village Security Volunteers (VVVs). The district chief, who is primarily responsible for the area, has advised residents at the evacuation center to remain there until after the August 4th General Border Committee (GBC) meeting.

Although the situation has improved, vigilance remains crucial due to the ongoing presence of drones. The military's objectives concerning these drones are yet to be determined. Thai officials have been working to reassure the public, while local MPs continue to protect villagers and encourage them to stay in safe areas.
