The government has also consistently continued efforts to expand the tax base as a follow-up after the implementation of the Voluntary Disclosure Program (PPS) and implementation of the Citizen Identity Number (NIK) as the NPWP. Furthermore, the government will continue to provide tax incentives to accelerate economic transformation while increasing investment attractiveness. The government will also encourage Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP). Efforts to increase PNBP will continue to be pursued through improving regulations, improving natural resources’ management, optimizing state asset management, and conducting service innovation while maintaining the quality of public services. The state treasurer explained that efforts to optimize the direction of the 2024 tax policy are one of the government’s efforts to accelerate economic transformation through the holistic strengthening of fiscal reforms.
