Bangkok: "Warawut" has instructed the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to locate documents concerning land in the Lam Takhong Industrial Estate. This issue has persisted for an extended period, with Warawut refraining from commenting on its potential political implications.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, the Minister of Social Development and Human Security (MSDHS), addressed the controversy surrounding land allocation in the Lam Takhong Self-Help Settlement located in Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The land was originally allocated for villagers to engage in farming. Concerns have been raised over whether the land was sold off and if the overlapping areas expanded to the extent that title deeds were issued to private individuals. Due to the longstanding nature of this issue, Mr. Warawut has tasked the Department of Social Development and Welfare, under the MSDHS, with retrieving historical documents to clarify the facts to the public.
When questioned by reporters about the possibility of the issue being a political game, Mr. Warawut expressed no opinion, stating his uncertainty about whether any problems exist in that regard.
