Vital Figures and Partners Celebrate 73 Years of MCOT as a Partner in Thai Society

Bangkok: MCOT executives and staff joined in making merit by offering alms to monks and paying homage to sacred objects on the occasion of MCOT's 73rd anniversary as a partner in Thai society, with 'Minister Jiraporn', along with important people and partner agencies, joining in to express their congratulations.

According to Thai News Agency, this morning, MCOT executives and employees gathered to make merit by offering alms to nine monks from Wat Phra Ram 9 Kanchanaphisek and paid homage to the sacred objects of MCOT for good fortune. Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, attended the event to congratulate the organization. She conveyed her hope that MCOT's 74th year would be fruitful, emphasizing the importance of the media entity in fostering societal progress and democratic development.

In addition to the celebrations, key figures and partner agencies donated funds to the Uthokpat Foundation under Royal Patronage. This initiative aims to support sustainable community development through water management, aligning with royal projects. Agencies like the Prime Minister's Office, Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), among others, participated by presenting flowers and souvenirs.

The public is also encouraged to contribute to the Uthokpat Foundation to aid its water management efforts. Donations can be made to account number 013-0-22419-7 at Krung Thai Bank, Sri Ayutthaya Road Branch.

Furthermore, MCOT organized a ceremony to honor individuals who received royal decorations in 2022 and awarded outstanding employees in 2025. Mr. Phatiyuth Jaisawang, Deputy Managing Director, Product Division, and Acting President of MCOT Public Company Limited, presided over the event. The honors included the Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant and the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand, presented to a total of ten people. Additionally, thirteen employees were recognized with outstanding employee awards, marking a significant achievement for MCOT personnel.
