Bangkok: The USAR rescue team from Canada has arrived at the collapsed State Audit Office building under construction and is ready to assist Thai rescue workers in the search for the missing persons.
According to Thai News Agency, at 2:10 p.m., a USAR rescue team from Canada, along with a K9 dog, reached the site of the collapsed Auditor General's Office to assist in the search efforts for individuals still missing inside the building.
This deployment by the Canadian USAR team follows the withdrawal of the USAR team from Israel, which left to undertake another mission the previous day.
From inquiries, a USAR official from Canada revealed that the mission is focused on supporting the efforts of field staff in Thailand. The team comprises a total of nine personnel and one dog, all dedicated to aiding in the search for missing persons amidst the building's rubble.
