Don mueang: Urgently hunting for 'Toon Prachan 3' who shot to clear the way for police to buy e-cigarettes, injuring two officers, before being shot and sped away in his car and abandoned it at a garage in Don Mueang.
According to Thai News Agency, Don Mueang Police Station received a report that two men had parked their car at a Benz repair shop on Songprapa Road. The car had been shot until its tires were flat, and one of the two men was found covered in blood before fleeing on foot along Songprapa Road inbound.
Pol. Col. Phuwanon Aunphothi, Superintendent of Don Mueang Police Station, led the investigation and suppression division and forensic officers to inspect the scene of the incident. They found a gray Honda Civic sedan parked in a garage with its front and rear right tires burst as if it had been driven on the road until it burst. The front left tire was broken and the front fender was torn off. There were marks all around the car from being shot with an unknown caliber gun. There were many bloodstains on the passenger seat. It is believed that the perpetrator, who was also a passenger, was injured by a bullet. Officers are currently tracking down the perpetrator and coordinating with nearby hospitals and medical facilities. The perpetrator's car has been taken to Pak Khlong Rangsit Police Station.
From asking the witnesses, they said that before the incident, while they were sitting and socializing in the shop, they heard a loud noise like a flat tire grinding against the road. Then they saw a sedan turn into the garage. Then two men, one thin, the other fat, both with tattoos all over their bodies, got out and asked for help, saying that they wanted to park their car and hide it because they were being chased and shot at. At that time, they did not know what happened, but because they looked shocked and asked for help, they let them park their car. However, they asked to take a picture as evidence to prove their innocence.
However, it was reported that the car found belonged to the e-cigarette dealer who shot Pol. Sgt. Maj. Atsanai Ruangsai, 28, the investigation unit commander of Pak Khlong Rangsit Police Station, who was shot between the legs and arm. Another officer, a volunteer police officer named Mr. Aphichai Chuenchai, 42, was shot in the leg while trying to buy e-cigarettes. The incident occurred in Bang Phun Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pathum Thani Province. He then fled to Don Mueang Police Station, but may have been unable to continue, so he abandoned the car before fleeing. Officers have identified one of the two perpetrators, Mr. Naphonthon or Toon, PCN 3, who was photographed by a good citizen while he was packing up his things to escape, along with a gun.
From the investigation of Mr. Naphonthon's history, it was found that he had been arrested and prosecuted many times, including the Firearms Act and drug use.
