According to Thai News Agency, the first two buses from the Thai side began to pick up Chinese people in Myawaddy, Myanmar, via the 2nd Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge on the Mae Sot border in Tak Province this morning. Chinese embassy officials and police followed to maintain order before taking the first group of 76 Chinese people, including victims of call center gangs and scammers, across the border to undergo biometric identification processes, including facial scans and fingerprints, to be entered into the Thai Immigration Bureau's blacklist system. The first group of Chinese people today will then travel to Mae Sot International Airport to wait for a chartered flight from China to send them back home to China. This is the second time that Chinese people who worked for call center gangs in Myawaddy, whether they were deceived or willingly, will be sent back to their home country. From today until March 9, there will be a total of 19 flights to bring back 1,439 Chinese people. The first round of sending C hinese people from Myawaddy took place from February 20-22, with a total of 13 flights sending back 621 Chinese people.

However, there are still Chinese and foreigners of 29 nationalities, totaling more than 7,000 people who have been swept away by the Border Guard Force (BGF), the Karen group of Maung Chit Thu, and the Karen group DKBA from the Shwe Kokko Special Economic Zone, KK Park, and opposite Chong Khaep Subdistrict, Phop Phra District, over the past 3 weeks and are being held while waiting to coordinate with various embassies to send them back to their countries, with many countries still delayed, causing the BGF to shoulder the burden of taking care of all foreigners.
