Three-Flavor Sticky Rice Sells Out Daily with 300 Containers in High Demand

Ratchaburi: Three-flavor sticky rice sticks are proving to be a popular item, with 300 tubes being sold every day at the Khao Lam Sam Ros shop in Ratchaburi Province. The shop, owned by Mr. Saming Tanoy, has been a staple in the community for 27 years, known for its unique recipe passed down from Mr. Tanoy's mother.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Saming has taken his mother's original recipe and enhanced it to create a distinctive taste that attracts customers daily. The shop, located in front of Kamnan Yong Market in the Don Jako Subdistrict, offers a variety of options, including black sticky rice and white sticky rice, filled with young coconut, black beans, and taro. Each day, Mr. Saming roasts around 300 bamboo tubes of sticky rice, which are available in different sizes priced between 20 to 45 baht.

The shop operates daily, starting from 7:00 a.m. until all the sticky rice is sold out, ensuring that there is no overnight stock. This commitment to freshness and quality has helped the shop maintain its popularity and continue to thrive in the local market.
