According to Thai News Agency, this shop is called 'Khao Lam Sam Ros' located in front of Kamnan Yong Market, Don Tako Subdistrict, Mueang District, Ratchaburi Province. The shop is owned by Mr. Saming Tanoy, aged 53, who has inherited the original Khao Lam recipe from his mother. The shop has been open for over 27 years or since 1998. The shop's Khao Lam has both black sticky rice and white sticky rice, with many fillings to choose from, such as young coconut, black beans, and taro. The taste is sweet, fragrant, and delicious.

Phi Saming said that he took the ancient recipe passed down from his mother and developed the taste to be more outstanding than before. It can be called the shop's own recipe. Each day, they roast about 300 bamboo tubes of sticky rice. The main ingredients are sticky rice, coconut milk, sugar, and salt. They sell both small and large tubes, priced from 20-45 baht.

Roasting Khao Lam uses charcoal fire, lit on a long, trough-like stove with a piece of iron placed across the middle. Then, the bamboo sticky rice tubes are arranged in rows. While roasting, the tubes must be flipped back and forth at regular intervals to ensure that the bamboo sticky rice is cooked thoroughly. Roasting takes about 1-2 hours. You can tell from the mouth of the tube that the coconut milk has started to boil, indicating that the bamboo sticky rice is almost done.

The shop opens every day from 7:00 AM until the products run out. Made daily, no overnight stock. Anyone who wants to buy and try it can go to the Khao Lam Sam Ros shop in Ratchaburi or call to order in advance at Phi Saming's number 065-6345642.
