Thaksin Shinawatra to Meet Red Shirt Supporters in Phitsanulok Province

Phitsanulok: "Thaksin" prepares to meet the Red Shirt masses in Phitsanulok Province this afternoon to exchange experiences in fighting for democracy. Reporters reported on the atmosphere at the 100th Anniversary Memorial Hall at Phitsanulok University. The Red Shirt masses in the lower northern region prepared the place to welcome Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, former Prime Minister, who is scheduled to visit Phitsanulok Province to meet the masses at the storytelling event 'The Masses' Experiences in Fighting for Democracy' at the 100th Anniversary Memorial Hall at Phitsanulok University, Samo Khae Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phitsanulok Province.

According to Thai News Agency, since the morning, the crowd wearing red shirts has been gradually entering the event area, both from Phitsanulok Province and neighboring provinces such as Phichit, Uttaradit, Kamphaeng Phet, Tak, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, and Sukhothai, joining in. There are 180 Chinese tables set up, with 8 seats per table. It is expected that around 1,500 people will attend.

According to the schedule, Mr. Thaksin will arrive at the assembly hall at 1:00 p.m. and give a speech and talk with the red shirts before taking a group photo and leaving. For the atmosphere of the event since the morning, the place has been prepared. Stand-ups of Mr. Thaksin have been placed at the entrance of the auditorium. In the front area, boards have been set up for the masses to write messages expressing their feelings towards Mr. Thaksin. Flags with the message 'We love Thaksin' were handed out. Participants wore red shirts with the message 'Pheu Thai Family, Big House, One Heart' and 'We love Thaksin'.
