“Thainess Beyond Borders” Project Launched to Enhance Thai Student Networks Globally

London: "Jiraporn" accelerates the promotion of the network of Thai students abroad to help communicate the country's image to the world stage through the "Thainess Beyond Borders" project, allowing Thai students abroad to produce creative media reflecting Thai identity.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Jiraporn Sindhuphrai, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that she has assigned the Public Relations Department to carry out activities to develop networks of Thai youth abroad under the project "Thainess Beyond Borders." This initiative aims to encourage Thai students abroad to produce creative media that reflects Thai identity from the perspective of the new generation. The project seeks to expand the role of communication with Thais abroad, especially students, who are viewed as an important force of the nation in the future.

Ms. Jiraporn stated that this is the first time the government has given Thai students abroad the opportunity to play a role in communicating the country's image to the world through creative works, including articles, videos, or photographs. There may be further cooperation between the Public Relations Department and Thai students abroad in the future.

For the 'Thainess Beyond Borders' project in London, England, it is a pilot project and is prepared to expand continuously in the target group of scholarship students from seven countries: the United Kingdom, the United States, the People's Republic of China, Japan, Australia, the Federal Republic of Germany, and the French Republic. The selected works will be published through the channels of the Public Relations Department, PR Thai Government, and the website thailand.go.th, along with receiving certificates of honor and prizes.
