Thai Stocks Edge Up with Limited Movement Amid Market Monitoring

Bangkok: Thai stocks closed the morning session up 5.22 points. The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) closed this morning at 1,256.48 points, an increase of 5.22 points (+0.42%), with a trading value of approximately 29.402 billion baht.

According to Thai News Agency, analysts predict the Thai stock market will trade within a narrow range this morning, lacking new catalysts, but still supported by DELTA and buying pressure on OR and HMPRO, which saw sharp declines yesterday following its delisting from the MSCI. The market is also monitoring the effects of the Thailand Focus event, which began on the first day, and awaiting the outcome of the August 29th audio clip case against the Prime Minister. The market is expected to remain stable this afternoon, with support at 1,250 points and resistance at 1,260 points.
