Bangkok: Thai stocks closed this morning down 2.15 points. The Stock Exchange of Thailand ended the morning session at 1,193.62 points, marking a decrease of 2.15 points, or 0.18%, with a trading value of approximately 20,371 million baht.
According to Thai News Agency, analysts indicated that the Thai stock market experienced sideways fluctuations this morning due to a lack of new influencing factors. The market faced pressure primarily from selling activities involving DELTA. Additionally, concerns over Thailand's GDP figures persist, despite a marginally better-than-expected performance in the first quarter of 68. Furthermore, the company's performance report did not meet expectations. The current situation is compounded by emerging risks in the overall picture of US trade negotiations. Analysts suggest that the resistance level for the afternoon is at 1,195 points, with support at 1,186 points.
