Bangkok: Thai Sang Thai Party spokesperson confirms that no MPs will join the government as ministers. They will act as the opposition and adhere to their promises to the people. They will not use political techniques to gain power.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pariyas Angkurakitti, spokesman for the Thai Sang Thai Party, responded to the news that some MPs from the Thai Sang Thai Party will join the government and that some names will be appointed as ministers, confirming that the news is not true and is not a party resolution in any way.
The Thai Sang Thai Party still stands firm in its original political stance, which is to be a clear opposition party. They do not support a government that governs the country in a way that is contrary to the party's ideology. If any member wants to join the government or accept a ministerial position, they must make it clear and resign from the party first, in order to comply with the constitution, party regulations, and political ethics.
Mr. Pariyesh stated that the party does not support the use of political techniques, negotiation techniques, or campaign techniques such as sending nominees to take positions instead, because it is behavior that risks violating the party's regulations and may seriously damage its image. The party will take strict legal and regulatory action against violators.
The party, although only recently established, adheres to an 'honest politics' approach and aims to reform internally to find truly good, capable people who share the same ideology. Mr. Pariyes mentioned that the party's honest political policies have attracted interest from new-generation politicians, former MPs, and experts in various fields who wish to join in driving the party forward. However, due to political etiquette, the party will not disclose the names of these individuals at this time.
The Thai Sang Thai Party calls on the public to join in ending the corrupt political cycle that leads to vote buying, the formation of a government with opaque votes, and corruption in the ministerial system. They invite support for the party's honest political policies in the next election to change the country sustainably.
During the period when the government was moving to adjust the cabinet, there were continuous rumors about members of the Thai Sang Thai Party. The party therefore requested cooperation from the media to verify information directly with the party spokesperson team to avoid inaccuracies and ensure that news reports are based on facts and the party's position correctly and completely.
