Thai Leicester Fans Celebrate Jamie Vardy’s Farewell in Style

Bangkok: Leicester City fans in Thailand, organized by groups such as What the Fox, Foxy Fox, and Foxy Foxy, came together to bid farewell to Jamie Vardy, the legendary striker of the Foxes. The event marked Vardy's last appearance at King Power Stadium, his 500th match in all competitions, and took place at Glen Bar, Pullman King Power Bangkok Rangnam Hotel on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

According to Thai News Agency, the farewell event featured a special activity where attendees wrote messages of remembrance for Jamie Vardy on a unique Leicester City flag created for the occasion. This flag will be presented to Vardy, commemorating his significant contribution to the club. Fans also gathered to watch the crucial match between Leicester City and Ipswich Town, Vardy's final home game in the Premier League. To honor him, fans donned Jamie Vardy masks and paid tribute in the 9th minute of the match.

The event also included a lucky draw with numerous prizes, the most coveted being an exclusive Vardy signed shirt, which delighted the lucky recipient. Many other special prizes were distributed, bringing joy to all the winners present.
