Trang An: 'Kamlas' Namuangrak emerged victorious at the All Thailand Trang An Open 2025, marking a significant milestone in the tournament's history as it was held overseas for the first time. The event, hosted at the Trang An Golf Resort in Vietnam, is the fourth event of the All Thailand Golf Tour 2025, with a total prize fund of 3 million baht. Namuangrak finished the final round with an impressive 4 under, culminating in a total score of 20 under to clinch the championship. This victory, which comes with a prize of 400,000 baht, is Namuangrak's third, adding to his previous wins at the Singha Classic 2018 and the ADT-All Thailand Partnership Trophy 2024.
According to Thai News Agency, Namuangrak, who turned professional in 2018, expressed gratitude towards the All Thailand Golf Tour and the Chang An Golf Resort for their exceptional organization and hospitality. The tournament saw Kosuke Hamamoto and Chanat Skulpolpaisan tying for second place with scores of 14 under each, earning them 162,500 baht each. The next event on the All Thailand Golf Tour circuit is the Singha Laguna Phuket Open, scheduled for May 2025, with a total prize of 4 million baht.
In a groundbreaking event for the Thai LPGA Tour, it held its first overseas competition, featuring a 54-hole stroke play format at the Trang An Golf and Resort. The tournament offered a total prize of 1.5 million baht, with the winner taking home 200,000 baht. Le Chuk An, a 17-year-old national team player, secured the championship with a birdie on the final hole, finishing with a score of 7 under par 206. This win adds to her accolades, including two victories at the Vietnam National Open Championship in 2023 and 2024.
Le Chuk An expressed her excitement and gratitude for the tournament's organization and the opportunity to compete, while also looking forward to representing Vietnam in the upcoming SEA Games in Thailand. Meanwhile, Apo-Chonchiwa Wongrasm from Chiang Mai, who was the No. 1 Thai LPGA player in 2024, tied with Christina Natalia Yoko from Indonesia after a strong final round performance.
In her remarks, Chonchiwa thanked the Thai LPGA and Zhang An Golf for the opportunity and the excellent course management, expressing appreciation for the new experiences and the chance for female golfers to compete on such a platform.
