The Prime Minister has assigned Mr. Prasert Chantarawongthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society (DE), to take action. In this regard, the Cyber Police will coordinate with the Minister of DE to take action in the relevant part.
In the past, the Cyber Police have had information about groups of scammers who use AI to fake voices to call and deceive people. There are many forms, both calling and using the voices of people we know or are familiar with to call and deceive victims. As for the orders, coordination information with the DE, which is the agency that the Prime Minister has assigned, will be necessary.
