DSI Mobilizes 15 Officers for Observation of Tangmo Boat Incident Simulation

Nonthaburi: The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has arranged for a team of 15 officers to observe a simulation of the incident involving the fall of Tangmo, officially known as Nida Patcharaveerapong, from a boat. This simulation is scheduled to take place tomorrow.

According to Thai News Agency, Nattapol Disayatham, who leads the fact-finding working group in this case, disclosed that the private sector will conduct the simulation of the incident. In response, the DSI has assembled a specialized team comprising experts in relevant fields, special operations officers, legal officers, GPS officers, and intelligence officers. These officers will document the simulation by taking photographs, flying drones, and closely monitoring the reenactment of the event. As the original case is already in court, the DSI's involvement is limited to observation to avoid infringing upon the court's authority. Following the simulation, the team will submit a report to the DSI to determine if any new evidence has emerged.

Pol. Lt. Col. Natthaphon, speaking today, mentioned that he and his officers will visit the Riverine Place Hotel in Nonthaburi Province at 4:00 p.m. This location serves as the meeting point for the press conference related to the simulation. The visit aims to assess the site and make necessary preparations for the following day's activities.
