Bangkok: After launching the 'Sure Detective 404: Unbolt Cyber Trap' project, MCOT, led by the Sure Before Share Center and the Safe and Creative Media Development Fund, has joined forces with various partner agencies to organize activities aimed at building resilience among youth, teachers, the elderly, and the general public against new forms of online threats. The first workshop of this initiative was held at Mahannoparam School, Bangkok.
According to Thai News Agency, the workshop is a part of the broader 'Sure Detective 404: Unbolt Cyber Trap' project, which is designed to enhance skills in observing, detecting, and avoiding cyber traps for youths nationwide. The event featured senior officers from the Central Investigation Bureau and the National Cyber Security Agency, as well as popular figures such as magician Pee Bem Luk Pong and Ajarn Jessada Salathong from Chulalongkorn University. The main focus of the event was 'AI and Cyber.'
A notable aspect of the project is the mobile exhibition titled 'Behind the Trap: Dissecting the Cyber Trap,' which is presented in an Interactive Exhibition format. This allows participants to engage in four exhibition rooms dedicated to exploring the dimensions of cyber traps: deception, disguise, swarming, and confinement.
The workshop series will continue its journey to four more schools: Samut Sakhon Wutthichai School, Kamnoetwit School in Rayong Province, Singburi Kindergarten School, and Srinakharinwirot University Demonstration School in Nakhon Nayok Province. Each session will focus on different themes such as the financial trap, the science trap, the health trap, and the AI trap.
