Buriram: A summer storm hit Tambon Khok Lek, Amphoe Huai Rat, Buriram Province. Residential houses, animal pens, and buildings were damaged.
According to Thai News Agency, a summer storm accompanied by hail struck Village No. 8, Khok Lek Subdistrict, Huai Rat District, Buriram Province, causing extensive damage to houses, animal pens, and buildings. Villagers, who have never witnessed such a severe summer storm before, are currently facing significant hardship and lack the financial means to repair their houses.
The village headman described this storm as the most severe in a decade. Initial assessments indicate that 3 houses, 3 cow pens, 2 rice barns, and 7 sheds suffered damage. Reports have been submitted to the Huai Rat District Office to seek assistance for the villagers affected by the storm.
