Bangkok: The Student Loan Fund (SLF) organized the 'SLF Expo: Creating Opportunities, Creating the Future' at Panyapiwat Institute of Management. The event aims to provide students and the general public with career guidance, new skills, and opportunities in the digital age, featuring activities from over 50 public and private sector partners.
According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Nantawan Wongcharitti, Manager of the Student Loan Fund, shared that the event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Convention Hall, 3rd floor, Panyapiwat Institute of Management, Chaeng Watthana Road. The expo is designed to facilitate learning and development for students and those preparing to enter the labor market. It includes educational guidance booths from more than 20 leading institutions, reskill and upskill courses for digital proficiency, and job and internship opportunities from prominent organizations.
The event also features a special talk titled 'Unlocking the Digital Learning Skills of the Future,' aimed at inspiring attendees for the evolving society. There is a One Stop Service for advice on loans, debt repayment, and debt restructuring for the Student Loan Fund, along with stage activities, souvenir giveaways, and a chance to win prizes from partner organizations. Participation in the event is free of charge.
Over the past 25 years, the Student Loan Fund has enabled educational opportunities for over 7.1 million students across the nation, with loans exceeding 800 billion baht. This support has alleviated financial burdens for families and helped many youths pursue higher education and prepare for the job market.
Additionally, the Student Loan Fund encourages senior borrowers who have graduated to assist juniors by repaying their loans by the annual due date of July 5. Borrowers can check their debt status and make payments easily through the Student Loan Fund Connect application or any bank's mobile banking via QR Code.
